Nice enough place - just be prepared for "robust" arguments from those who have longevity.

Warning...for a newbie posting a question on the wrong forum is a rule breaker, so unless you get to it you will not last long on here. Not a good way to start on a site. Good luck!!!

Joe is the DIYnot's very own village idiot. Well there are many actually but he's the most reliable. The rest of the forum is a friendly place most of the time, apart from the Muppets in electrics, alarms and plumbing. Oh and tiling too.

So says the man that has NEVER dared take me on.

Hello Sombrero :) do you use adobe on your computer ;) . I`m sure you`ll fajita in here .Just ignore the boca de pedos on here

Hi sombrero

Your comments on this forum are as welcome as anyone elses so don't be put off. Everyone had to start at somewhere. I know how confusing it can be when joining a new forum and knowing where to post your comments. If you want help with a building related problem then try to choose the correct forum. This is for general discussion and sl*gging other members off.

Good luck!

i don't even know who Joe90 is and yet i'm being warned about him
He's a harmless contributor on here who is a self proclaimed expert on everything,(plumbing, electrics, politics religion etc) but really is quite amusing if you don't take him seriously. Evening Joe
