Hello

I would like some advice please, I live in a two bed flat and have a back boiler and cylinder, I believe the boiler to be a Baxi Burmudea and its rather old, Would i save anything in money per year having a combi boiler installed I should add i live alone.

Thanks for any advice

how long are you going to be in the flat?

could cost more to replace it than how much you'd save on gas usage while you're there.

if it's not got controls (room thermostat, hw cylinder thermostat) then adding these plus the appropriate zone valves and pipework alterations could save you some money longer term.

Stay as you are it may be old but will still outlast any combi you would
put on the wall and will be ultra reliabile.

Thank you both very much. it does have all the controls I think will take your advice and be happy with what i have, thu i might replace the fire i have its old and i am sure Baxi must do a better looking one that can fit to the back boiler.

Once again Thank you

Unfortunately the back boiler and gas fire are an integral part.
It is unlikely you'll get a fire to match up to the back boiler.
You'll be keeping the gas fire I'm afraid.

Hello dcawkwell
