can anybody tell me where I can get adaptors for a multi function tester for testing light circuits through the fitting without having to remove the fitting for doing earth loop tests etc

Just hammer Kewtech Lightmate into google, plenty of places sell them

You're still going to have to undo the light fitting to access the CPC - so not going to help you, really. (unless it's a class 1 light fitting, of course)>

As above, you are not going to get r2 readings or Zs, so unless you are testing for r1 and rn don't see the value of having them in your tool bag|

It's much easier to have L and N leads plugged in and held, with probe to E terminal than have croc on E and poke two probes into two holes with one hand.

As has been said, even easier with a metal fitting.

I don't understand the opposition.

No, me neither.

So on a class 2 fitting you still have to dismantle to get a Zs but those light mates are a god send on fancy class 1 fittings.

Got some for about 30 quid, from an ebay seller called Janico of York. Were the cheapest at the time

It's one of those things I have no idea how I ever managed without them. :D
