Shed roof

Hi needing some advice iam getting a brick shed built in my back garden i would like it to have concrete tiles on the roof can anybody tell me if the slope of the roof is enough the size is 8ft at the front sloping to 7ft at the back the width is 10ft the joist size is 6x2 with half inch ply on top

Its to shallow I think, if you are going to put ply on top why not put felt on that then counter baton, then tile.

Thanks for the reply catlad, yes thats what i intended doing ply felt then the batons then the tile just need to know if there is enough pitch for roof tiles but you think it might be to shallow

It does not matter as much if you put torch on roof underlay as that will take any water that gets through to the gutter.

Hi here is an update got the roof done with torch on felt, this is the next stage Im going to insulate the the roof in fact the whole shed will be insulated this is my plan for the roof the joist's are 150x50mm leaving air space of roughly 50mm there is a gap at each end of the joist 50mm for air flow through this space i will put two layers of kingspan 80mm then 25mm of kinspan this has a foilbacking then polythene vapour barrier stapled to joist then 12mm ply that will be gloss painted to seal it, does this look ok trying to stop condensation getting to the roof.

the reason for this is the shed will have fish tank's in it and heated

I take it you are putting 80mm between the joists and 25mm over then ply so before you put your ply on if you tape all the joins with foil tape that can act as your vapour barrier.
