Hair cracks in walls

My new attic is 1yr old now and it has moved and cracked as you would expect a new build to. So i will be doing my snagging this spring.

The cracks where the wall meets the roof can be filled in with caulk BUT i have a few cracks around the veluxs and i want to know how i sort these out.

Do i use the fine plaster to fill and then sand these cracks or will they come back ? Is there a specific flexible filer i can use ?

Hi. I would use to part wood filler, but you would need to run stanley blade through those cracks, to make some space for the filler. You could get easy to sand wood filler from Ronseal or other makes. Just make sure you don't over fill it. Do it twice rather than once. Good luck

Doing that will just make a hair crack much bigger and look terrible. I take it this is a wind up bit of advise

Ultra lightweight filler - Wickes/ Red Devil is good.

The two part filler idea does work well. I often use car body filler.
