Bosch Dishwasher - No Power - Faulty Switch?

Bosch Logixx dishwasher
E-Nr SG16615GB/12 Type S9ET1B

Fitted unit under the worksurface so not that easy to get to the back or sides.

Boss lady was using it while I was out and she said it just stopped. She cannot remember a bang or any smoke.

Fuse and socket ok, but nothing happens when you press the power button.

Stripped the unit down from the front and checked the switch and control board. Control board does not appear to be damaged and no obvious burnt-out components.

Checked and connectivity present between the L/N and the brown and blue wires that come into the six-way switch.

Checked what is switched when the power switch is depressed. Looking at the blue plug from the top as it plugs into the switch with Blue being Neutral and Brown being Live. A-D are the other connections. Did this check with the mechanical door lock switch depressed. This causes a bar to pull through the power switch.

A BLUE B BROWN C D

When the switch is not pressed in nothing is connected to Blue or Brown.

When the switch is pressed in:-

A connects to Blue
B Connects to Brown
C Does not change
D Connects to Brown

Tracing through the wiring from Pin C it goes to the power board on UEB2. A wire from Pin A (effectively Neutral) also goes to this connector.

From what I have seen elsewhere in the forum I believe this is the power to the PCB.

Without any schematics for this dishwasher its difficult to go any further without changing parts.

Am I looking at a faulty six-way switch?

Numbers on the switch are 1-DPS/228 D270301 and 5600.001.346

As the unit is 11 years old I would like to ensure I am only buying new parts if it will solve the problem. Managed to keep my AEG washing machine going 21 years, but I have a feeling the Bosch dishwasher may not last that long.

Was this continuity and voltage?

Continuity only.

I don't like playing with mains unless absolutely necessary.

I would check the supply voltage at the point the appliance is plugged in.
Then you can rule out the installation, then it's narrowed down to the appliance, do this with power isolated prior to removing covers.
Also double check fuse, plug and flex for damage.

If no power to socket outlet/outlet plate then firstly check MCB, RCBO, RCD at the mains board and any fuse connection that are protecting this circuit.
Then check for loose connection, do this with power isolated prior to removing covers.

Thanks, but as I mentioned in my message already checked those.

Even plugged different item into socket to check and double checked fuse with a meter.

Unit is powered from the main kitchen ring, and everything else on that ring is ok. RCBO is not tripped.

I am convinced the problem is with the dishwasher.

Until you check voltage at outlet point of the appliance, could be testing for something that is not faulty!
If you are not confident of testing for voltage, it may be worth running an extension lead from know working outlet and plugging the appliance in.
You have not mentioned if any indicator lights are on?
