Hi

Can anyone help? Our Bosch Exxel 1200 came up with an F18 fault which pointed to a filter/pump issue. On checking the filter, there was a couple of argos pens and a curtain hook which I assumed was the problem. Once cleared, It still won't drain. I have checked as much I can for debris and it all looks clear. I have checked the impeller spins when the machine is set to drain, and it does.

The only thing I haven't managed to do is check that the drain hose isn't blocked as I am unsure how to get at it from inside the machine. It seems clear when I blow down it!

Does anyone have any other ideas? Many Thanks. Russ

Sorted it!

I streched a finger round into the inlet part that goes into the filter and could feel a 'wall'. A coin was stuck in there and had positioned itself so that it completely blocked the water from draining out of the drum. I didn't manage to remove it, but pushed into the 'bellows' pipework.

If the problem comes back I know exactly what is causing it and will remove the bellows pipe to remove the coin. I would have taken it off there and then but the clip holding the pipe to the filter inlet is a strong one!
