Hiya,

Anything like it in the UK. Want something that's about 5m long and only really need one socket on the end.

The more compact the better - wall mounting is good, but not critical.

PS: I'd like to avoid the usual reel ones (http://www.tooled-up.com/product/4-socket-50-metre-cable-extension-reel-13-amp-240v/189115/) instead preferring something more like a water hose reel, so the reel stays where it is and the chord comes out.

Don't forget you'll need to unwind the reel fully if you're using any heavy loads, or you'll end up with one big melted reel.

Although I've learnt that the hard way in the past, isn't that what thermal trip switches are for?
