Do me a favour can you unplug the camera it is flicking too and tell me what happens.

Now swope camera 1 to say camera2 and see if the same happens,

Is camera one contacts sealed properly? Have you hit the cable with a hammer? Or is it tangled round number 3?

Does the system have motion detection function ?

If it has then maybe it is changing to channel one when it detects motion on the image on channel one.

hi swale everything seems to be working fine, that private message about unplugging the system and loading the cameras one by one seemed to of worked.
hi Bernard no i dont think this has motion detection i only paid £700 for it. the cameras are all static. i have all 8 cameras up and running. and what was happening before 2 cameras pictures were trying to be shown on the one camera area.

Depends on your make but they are all the same really.

H.264 d1 system.
192.168.0. Last two digits are unique to your system either 07,08,09,10, 11 or 12.
You can find your IP address in the menu config area go to
Menu
Net services/ network.
Ur IP address.
Go to windows explorer must be explorer Firefox safari won't work.
Type in your IP address your router will connect it will ask you to down load certain files click run....
Ok and make sure your DVr is conected to your router.... You are blonde!
Once down loaded run active x.
Then you should be on!

Lol.
Right you access the DVr menu ( the recording thing)by right clicking on the c
Screen it should ask you to login. Click ok no password should be required if it does then its normally 888888.
Go to system
Click on network
Enable DHCP.
Your IP address will be 2nd line down. 192.168.......
Gateway should be 192.168.0.1 that's your router.
Make a note of IP address only.
Go to Internet explorer on the pc in the address bar type http://192.168 and whatever the numbers are.
Then it will ask you to down load software click run.
