Drayton Digistat +3...Help!

Can anyone assist? I have one of the above controlling a Baxi boiler - only it doesn't. I downloaded the 12 page manual from the net and tried to put it into 'holiday' mode as the house is at present unoccupied, it now won't let me do anything.

Pressing the two lower buttons for 3 seconds to put it into programme mode produces 09 - it only has eight programmes, the only thing it will allow me to do is toggle between 'on' and off', if I leave it to reset it does the same again, and it doesn't turn the boiler on. Is it something I have done or has it crashed?

Sounds like its knackered, there are issues with these units.
Turn the power off, remove the cover from the sender unit and you will see wires in to terminals 1 & 3. Put both wires into the same terminal and your heating should work again until you can replace it. Control the heating by the boiler thermostat as a temp measure
