Hi all,

All the brick effect tiles I have seen have beveled edges, which I understand will make it a bit awkward with using the edging strip on external corners and the edges of the tiled area.

I've been looking for a brick effect tile (200mm x 100mm) without a beveled edge, but cant see any.

Anyone know of any standard non-beveled tiles in this size?

I'm looking for gloss black.

Thanks
Dan

just to add, if you do like the bevelled ones don't be put off by the trim thing. the bevel is only 1.5mm usually.

johnson tiles PRG6 don't seem to have a beveled edge and are 200x100, gloss black seems to be twice the price of white though

Johnsons are the only ones I know of, but they look the nuts.

Yes Black is in their higher price range for some reason.

Can't remember if Pilks did any, nor if they are still trading even?

With the beveled tiles you need to buy a thicker trim to the thickest part of the tile, and "feather" the grout in around the trims. It don't really look too bad imo once finished.

amsie - totally agree on the trim, a good grout job and it looks great.

i actually just bought a load of these from topps at the weekend. they do the bevelled edges in gloss but also non-beveled in glose and matt.

pretty sure they had a gloss black
