Ah. I'm sorry -

Remove the wire that you put into terminal 6 from NC
and terminate safely.

My mistake - this is for HW off - not CH off.

In other words the first diagram I made was correct.
I shall delete the other.

Very good.

Thanks for letting us know.

You say you don't use the programmer for heating the water but there is no reason not to.

:)

Thank you that is handy to know if it will work in the future, I kept my Electric connection to the immersion.

Its been my saviour as I cant rely afford gas, its a luxury for when my granddaughter stays over.

So with the immersion option I can still have lovely hot baths.

I have friends who have been lumbered with Combi boilers and they need both fuels and are in a terrible state financily.

I saw it all coming so I stayed put with what I have, even if I "had to" have a Combi I would some how rig my water tank and still keep the option.

It will not be leaving my house any time soon :)

Thanks again

Mmmm. Gas is a lot cheaper than electric.
You must have Economy 7 or similar.

Yes, combis can be plumbed into the cylinder.

Thanks again
Good luck.

Not Economy 7 I just don't use any heating.
All I need now is none standing charge meters as no gas use for 8 months a year I still have to top up.

Just watching the market.

Thanks again EdL till next time lol
