Hi,

I'm struggling to find good information about alarm systems.

I'm looking for a wireless system I can remotely access via phone and has fobs.

The only one that I can find that seems remotely decent is The Yale SmartHome with GSM.

But I can not find a review on it anywhere and dont trust salespeople, anyone have any experience / are these decent / worth the money? On paper it looks so.

My place is small, a couple accessible windows and a couple of rooms.

Thanks for any help,
Jon

Hijon,

I've installed a few of these as the cheaper option to many main stream alarms, there is a Honeywell which you can have add ons. Including fobs.

Yale is a decent alarm it does what it says and there is no service charge the only cost for the page is normal call costs from your service provider.

Mi hope this helps

Jon if you want me to price it for you I can price it through my supplier to give you an idea.

Let me know what your looking for.

Thanks for the help. Found a place I've been talking to that sell the alarm without the installation so its fairly cheap.

Currently now weighing up doing it properly / a wired system. I know there are benefits but don't really fancy pulling up my carpets/floor and drilling through walls + ceilings.

Thanks again,
Jon
