lighting for dark dining room

I live in a terraced house and the back pary of the room doesnt get a great deal of light.
I would like to buy a light that gives daylight to brighten the room up
room is 12 x 12 ft

Have a look at some software like "Sweethome" which allows you to look at different lighting, colours etc. Don't forget the benefits of mirrors, glazed doors, etc
