Nail Gun Advice Please

I am looking to apply some bamboo screening to my garden panel fencing.

The easiest way of doing so I thought would be to use a nail gun with heavy duty staples.

This one accepts up to 14mm staples http://tinyurl.com/d5xo4kl

Does anyone have experience of doing similar and would this stapler be sufficient?

Just buy some presser point staples and use a hammer

The fence isn't very stable and when I tried to fit similar to another side of the fence it moved every time I tried to bang a nail in hence I thought the short sharp power of a stapler would do the trick.

What about a tacker as a cheaper alternative?

Nail guns are pretty powerful and I would be worried on bamboo you'll ruin your fence.
