Not really focused, but one statement stands out...

"migrants pay more tax than they receive in benefits"...

Is that right? do they mean tax on petrol in their posh cars? or council tax on their 7 bed mansion?

I've worked all my life on a once above average salary, but now average salary in a private company with no hope of improving, should I turn to crime, or emigrate?

The statement is true.

You can't have 1 million eastern Europeans coming here and stealing our jobs, whilst simultaneously living on benefits and scrounging.

The issue is smaller groups of migrants, that are visually over-represented, like the Nigerians that get 7 bed houses in Notting hill, or the Romanians clustering together in parks/caravans/squatting, or the Muslims all living in their own little community with their own shops, mosques and sometimes schools.

Yes, overall in this Country, the figure is about 38% more pay Tax, than receive any sort of benefits,

But why spoil a good story ? Call them all benefit Scroungers instead.

In a flatlining economy every migrant that takes a job steals it from a Brit who must then claim benefits. The paltry bit of tax they pay no-where near compensates for the benefits the Brit then claims.

Fraud is very profitable and very low risk in the US. In one state only 40 out of 20,000 prisoners are there for fraud.
And it's good for business!

Migrants as a group may well pay more in tax than they claim in benefits - but taxes need to pay for one hell of a lot more than just state handouts!

They also need to pay for schools, hospitals, policing, defence, the bloody EU, roads, railways, prisons, courts, all the other people who work in the public sector - and the pensions of all the people who ever did.

So. Is anyone claining that migrants as a group pay more in tax than it costs to run their share of all of the above????

Thought not.
