change upvc door hinge

we have a newish door (2 yr old) never seemed to be the best of fit - complained to the company who tried to adjust it

two years down the line - one of our hinges has cracked in 2 bits, as i think they just made adjustment on this hinge, (from what i read they should have adjusted it on all 3 to take the weight)

its a trojan flag hinge are they easy to replace?? diy job or not??

If its a direct replacement then yes, bit fiddly but easy enough

Manufacturers guarantee should cover that, why won't the company come back??

ive informed the company / but there not very easy to talk to (very aggresive etc) ignor you / bad customer service, they are good at work but when there becomes a problem they arent interested and make excusess! i have arranged for it to be changed

just wanted to know if it was easy to change?
and why it has happened

managed to change it

and adjusted it seems ok

only neg is out of the x4 screws 1 large and 1 small - they didnt seem to nip up very well, (2 got hold fine) 1 perfect! what with being taken off again one i tightened up with a cock tail stick shoved in hole and the other a bit of a raw plug, should be ok

any other suggests when you are struggling to get a screw to bite in to plastic?
