from memory it's a security feature (to prevent someone getting in the other doors), you may be able to hold the key in the unlock position longer to unlock the rest or unlocking it a second time (without relocking of course) but I can't remember. there are also "tricks" which can enable/disable features like this by performing a sequence of operations so it may be worth googling to see if this is one of them.

re-reading, do you mean if you physically use the key in another door, or if you use the key in the drivers door the others don't open?

hi ive checked all the fuses and they were all fine but one a yellow 20 so put a new one in and it dident do any thing,
I have just bought the car and it was like this when i bought it,
front water jets dident work ether checked under the bonnet and the wires were cut so I joined them back together and they work fine now.
any other thing I can try for central locking thanks.
there is only one key slot and that's in the drivers door and none ov the other doors.

Just tried this on another 07 reg, drivers door unlocked and so did the rest. If an other door is actually opened before the drivers, the alarm goes off.

Do you have the manual, if so ready the central locking section to work out what options there are as I'm sure you can configure things like this to behave differently.

Just wondering if the locking was previously configured to only unlock the driver's door using a single press of the key fob and a double press to unlock all doors? Most Fords can be configured this way or left at the default of one press to unlock all. What I dont know is if using the key once this has been configured results in the same behaviour.

AFAIK the only way to go back to the default 'one press' for all doors is by using the key fob - which you don't have. Maybe a trip to a local Ford dealership might help.

the missing remote is an integral part of the locking system on modern cars as its used for programming etc, not sure how your going to proceed on this one.
Try searching ebay for a replacement remote

You say 'You just bought the car' if from a dealer, was it reduced because of missing master key, if not go back to them.

I bought the car privet im gona buy a fob of ebay and get it connected to my car and see if that works.
il let ye's no how I get on thanks to all.

looks like its going to jennins fob never worked. :(
