I have a detailed list of stuff that I have from my days as a self-employed electrician.

It all has to go.

Is there anybody with fairly easy access to South Manchester (no delivery possible, I'm afraid) who is interested in the following:

If you are, I can expand on exactly what is available...

Flexes, T&E (eg 23m 10milli T&E), SWA (eg 16.5m 3 core 10 milli), 3pair telecoms, Various accessories and back boxes, assorted 20 and 30A junction boxes, terminal blocks, assorted lamps, recond coinmeter, sleevings (red and g/y of , conduit accessories, mini trunking accessories, Legrand IP55 circular junction boxes, dado trunking accessory boxes (1 & 2G), wall plugs, 20mm open grommets, MCB's, nylon ties, telecoms sockets (surface/master) and Krone JB's.

Anybody interested?

Have you thought about selling the cable for scrap? Should put a few quid in your pocket. :)

I would be interested but not even remotely local.

I agree with RF, scrap it. I weighed in some stripped SWA recently, various sizes from 16mm up to some 75mm, got £175 for it, was a nice little bonus

No more than £40, apparently.

I have been offered £1 a kilo unstripped.

Sorry, Iggi, I edited as you posted.

I have no more than 40 kilos of cable, as is.

There's a processing plant in Warrington who offers £1 a kilo unstripped, but obviously there's a time element in stripping it.

Oh totally, it took me a long time to strip the SWA, but I wasn't going to go weigh in 75mm SWA unstripped, that would be criminal.

Anything under 16mm or so it's debatable whether or not it's worth your time.

Do they quote a stripped price?

Sadly no. Would it be the same as weighing in copper pipe or is it much better grade?

It is a higher grade yes, and stripped cable (so long as you don't leave it in the garage for years) is graded as 'bright copper' where as oxidised pipes etc are graded as 'dull copper' which isn't as valuable apparently

Last time I weighed in "Bright Wire", it was around £50 a ton, so approx £5 a kilo. Gone down since then though.

Had around £900 that time around though :D

By processing plant in warrington i assume you mean NWG ? Near Thompsons depot.
If you can do me a detailed list with prices Securespark then i may be intrested in some of the gear.
Im located in Widnes on the border of warrington
