trying to reset to factory settings as have lost the code

tried manual way of powering completely down then linking terminals 13 and 23 then powering up etc ...

buttons dont work until i disconnect the link then it is still stuck on whatever the old code was .. supposed to revert back to factory 0123

anyone have any ideas of a work round or perhaps i am not reconnecting afterwards correctly ...

havent got a battery so power up from mains ..not from a battery source initially ..could this be the problem ???

ensure all zones are linked out
make sure tamper circuit is closed, including the spring one on the pcb
also make sure that T and A are linked out, (always better with a
wire link)
link PA to SET and reset to factory
