installing sink in room with no pipes currently

hi,

id like to install a sink in a rented room with currently no running water. the landlord has said that facilities dont exist to install a sink but id like to get your opinion. i am in a first floor flat; the sink i use is just along the corridor. i share it with one other but for medical reasons i would ideally like one in my own room. the room next door to me is ensuite. there is a drain right outside my room on the exterior of the building. ive drawn a rough picture, attached:

apologies for the poor quality. is it really impossible to install the sink? i have a feeling the landlord doesnt want the hassle even though i said i would pay. if i could get a professional opinion it would help. thanks!

You mean basin!

It's possible but it's the landlord's property so if he doesn't want it done, find another room with a basin!

he said he didnt mind just that he thought that the facilities didnt exist. how much would it cost? and what is the best way to do it?

Not enough info really. Water supply can probably be taken from the room next door. Waste would need to go outside and connect in to the drain outside. Is the drain pipe suitable - is it a combined system or separate? Are you sure it's not rainwater only?

Find out where the other things drain to, lift some floors, see if you can get a pipe from the existing waste pipe to your proposed position.
