Smoke testing from the open fireplaces will tell you something, & might establish a pattern
However, you must be certain for safe venting of fumes. For you, or someone after you, might install an appliance that requires a specific kind of terminal.
Typically, all the pots on your side of the shared stack are yours. But you have rogue pots at either end.
That stack, as your earlier post mentioned, requires re-building & re-flashing.
Whatever happens, eventually you want to open and sweep and smoke test and properly vent at the terminals all your flues. Research why & how on here.

Sligo. Can't afford to rebuild on my own €10.000.- + and neighbour not interested so making my side safe and repointing for €4,000.-. I have water coming in.
The 3 blocked chimneys were done before I moved in (17 years) no sign of problems. Want to cap all six with plastic caps. If anyone wants to use afterwards the only need to get a sweep and his brush and push them off!!!

I suppose you mean C-cap cowls for the terminals?
Redundant flues must be vented top and bottom.

I doubt that you could re-build your half of the stack. It would require surgery.
As a stop gap measure, a cheaper than £4000 to see how it goes measure, good for a couple of years maybe, you could:
1. Remove & clean off the S&C fillets, and flash with lead where the stack meets the slates.
2. You could also clean & patch up the flaunching, and then soak with water proofer.
Perhaps your neighbour knows which are his pots?

My side is the one without the 4" vent hole. You can't see from photo but it has a bulge in the middle so am taking it down about 10 rows to the 2nd, blue bricks, but only in the middle.

Scaffolding alone costs £2250,-. Won't get it cheaper round here.
