Good 9.5 kw electric shower

They should appreciate your knowledge and the fact you are prepared to share it free of charge.
I don't particularly care if it's appreciated or not! (Even though it is always nice to be appreciated)
If they decided to ignore the dangers of electricity in a wet location and the requirements concerning following manufactures instructions and employ idiot tradespeople, then fool them, I would have no sympathy for them if it went tyts up!

It's frightening to think of the consequences. Electricity is deadly alone, without the need to combine it with water.

Hopefully common sense prevails.

Sooooooooo back to my original question which is a decent 9.5 kw shower would be much appreciated thanks.

I think you need to ask your sparky who is going to do the job. I doubt the lads on here will offer any more advice - sorry.

So much for getting an answer to a question without facetious, snotty remarks from the ivory tower clique here. This guy is a registered electrician who I got via a rated tradesman website, do you really think he would carry out the work at the risk of losing his business if it were dodgey? It doesn't matter what you post here, you get the same sarcy comments telling you whatever you, do is wrong.if I had said he was fitting an rcd I would have been told it's unesesarry

Everyone here has told you that an RCD is needed for a bathroom.

Its only your registered electrician who seems to be telling you that it is not.

Could that be because you already have an RCD consumer unit?

For future refrence:

When posting asking for advice on a matter you have no knowledge about please end it thus
"I am a rude git who will be back to abuse you for your free advice at a latter date" Then everyone will know to just ignore you.

I am not rude. I am grateful for advice of folk who are not lording it over you with condescending remarks. So rated tradesmen sites are not worth it? I told you, whatever you post here gets shot down in flames.

As for the shower, I will get a Mira so thankyou for that. Much appreciated.

It has it's own trip switch on its own circuit.

If you post rubbish expect it to get shot down. Simples.

You got your free advice. You think you know better. Have a nice evening.
