Hi. I have tiled my kitchen and due to won key walls there is a gap between the wall and the tiles in some places of more than an inch! What is the best thing to fill this gap with? Thanks. Bit stuck!

Have you tiled the floor and have gaps around the edge? Thin slivers of tile would be best but you need an electric tile saw to produce them.

Sorry, I wasn't clear. No it's wall tiles. It's not a wet area, it's behind the cooker. The wall slopes backwards hence leaving a gap.

1" gap  thats quite a bit!
Consider filling up the hollows - a bit at a time - with any scrap pieces of tile, until you are close to the adhesive level. It doesn't have to be perfect, just enough to support the new surface tile.
Depending on how much needs doing, a thickish layer of plaster (the stuff that comes ready mixed in tubs, and is claimed to cover 2" in one pass) may help....but ignore the 2" bit - it sags like hell.

Thank you so much. I am new to this site and it's so helpful! I will do that.

can you not add a pic of it mate ?

the way I am picturing it, the end of the tile is 1" away from the wall, but sloping away, can you not cut a few slivers of the tiles you have, put one in place with addy, let set then put another sliver on top to bring the tiles out level, obviously you will get better help if we could see the actual problem

Hi
I filled it with broken tiles and some plaster. Sounds botchy but worked brilliantly! Job done, looks Great. Thanks for your help!
