How did she know her child had been abducted?

And why didn't she explain it? If she had seen suspicious persons in and around the area and her mind had been alerted then why the fook did she leave the children unattended to go on a booze up?

Why did Jane Tanner wait 24 hours (some sources say 48 ) before telling the mc canns and police what she claimed to have seen?

That's not the kind of information you hold back on when two doctors are busily proclaiming to the world that their child has been abducted!

How bizarre. So Jane has returned to the apartment and said to Russell something like.....

"er I just seen a stranger walking with a child"

To which Russell replies....

"OOh really darling, that's ever so strange... I must log that little event in my log book for future reference...."

To which Jane replies...

"OOh Russell darling you are so clever... why didn't I think of that..
lets stay in tonight and scope the streets for strange men carrying children.. instead off going for a booze up with those boring mc canns..."

If you won't state ( what your so obviously getting at), then I suggest you get down off your soapbox, and perhaps consider the views of others. You don't seem to be open to others thoughts on this whatsoever. whereas the police investigation has to remain totally open to all possibilities. (and I'm bloody sure Cameron hasn't told them anything different)

jock, I'm sure you know that whatever joe says has nothing to do with what he really thinks. It's all just contradictions going backwards and forwards partly saying this, then backtracking and partly saying that. None of it with any substance. It's all just laying eggs so that later on he can say I said that, and I said that and here's the proof. It's all just a wind up. And quite a successful one so far.

i know for certain i wouldnt.i too have 3 kids all boys,my eldest is 17 but my 14 year old is far more mature.

the parents are/were so called professional people and im assuming could afford an au pair/baby sitter?

i do my upmost to put my family 1st and my self a close 5th.especially if on holiday in a strange country.but thats me.

im not in a postion to answer the whys why nots etc.

thats a generalization of parenting.thats a path every parent has to walk.

leaving them alone is unforgivable if they cannot look after themselves.

Norcon, I have to say that I really don't like what you post.

Judging a person by their actions only is wrong.

You see a mum in the street take a back handed swipe at a 2 yr olds head in a buggy... but you don't see the wasp that was on the kid's head?

Woman watching her hubby who's a speedway rider, crash... "I know he's dead"...... she says... and turns away...

It's a natural irrational response...

The McCanns realise their daughter is missing... they aint gonna act normal are they?

I bet if you lose your phone you get a bit stressed !


Judging them at this stage solves nothing... let the authorities dig out ALL the facts, and then we can judge !
