Silly me! And I thought that was why god gave us two hands..
If let's say Jesus did indeed exsist would it safe to assume he may of been simply some kind of cult leader who had a load a people under his spell and whose favourite lunch happened to be bread and wine or maybe he could of been the equivalent of one of those American preacher's who pretend to get people to stand up and walk again but now given the passage of time his story has snowballed into what it is today?

Seriously, that's the most likely explanation. All of the supposed 'miracles' can be explained as non-supernatural events but, to simple people of those times, could have looked like magic.
Perhaps Jebus was a very clever magician - sleight of hand and all that!
May I ask who is bringing this floods? God? or man causing devastation to planet earth's atmosphere, disturbing it heavily with industrial pollutants and carbon emissions from billions of cars churning out toxic fumes, acid rain, and then you expect God to save mankind!
God set the rules, (laws of nature or you may perhaps prefer to call it law of physics) and if you mess with these laws or get tangled in them, you are asking for trouble, not God shedding it upon you. Did not God give you the brains and for you to use it wisely? choice is yours.
In simple physics terms, if you deplete oxygen and produce more Co2, it alters the balance of our atmosphere, who is cutting and burning natural rain forests across the globe, killing and displacing wild life, hundreds of acres of green forests that helps absorb Co2 is cut daily and we are reclaiming land for human inhabitation and our greed and hunger for timbre, extracting billions of gallons of fossil fuel (oil) from beneath the earth and then spending so much energy in refining and burning this stuff, where do you think is all that carbon going? man is contributing to choking this earth to its death, poisoning atmosphere, its ultimate destruction and then these idiots blames cause of their misgivings to God for all this unsettled weather, with hurricanes and floods as a consequence. iIts the scientist and Physicians, destroying this earth!

The only one who is capable of creating things from Nothing, the only one who created Energy, and the one who created this universe, the mightiest and the most powerful, the one the scientist cannot prove because it is beyond their means to prove his existence, and unmeasurable.
But thankfully, if we use our logic and commonsense they are the best tools that we can deploy to prove that he exists.
SIMPLE MATHS:
UNIVERSE = SOMETHING ......... CORRECT Balanced Equation
UNIVERSE = NOTHING................INCORRECT unbalanced equation
Mike, the universe isn't exactly in balance though (it's expanding) Slightly disproving your attempt at mathematics.
