And just to throw my tuppence in, Ive flashed 3 panels now and managed to create three pieces of junk that don't work. Kinda gave up after that when it got expensive.

Jibbeh what panels and versions flashed to what and did you default after flashing.
Also did you upgrade the nvms if panels were below version 9s?

Before I go ahead an purchase a new panel.
Once I fit the new panel in, can I use Wintext and upload my existing configuration.
Or will I have to re-configure everything and re do the walk tests etc etc.
Also, will I need to flash the keypads to the latest firmware as well.

Unfortunately yoy open two wintex and copy and paste
They dont have a system in place to upgrade the profile from non elite to elite although they were supposed to be working on one
You will have to relearn radio devices also
