Zanussi ZWF 12070 W1. Error code was five red flashes and 1 green

The code is related to the motor, could be just brushes, but faulty motor or pcb also possible.

E51 suggests the motor relay on the main PCB usually if its the carbon's on the motor you would get E52.

Cool this confirms what I've been reading. Am I right in thinking this is a costly repair and maybe worth buying a new washer?

My gran also heard a loud noise when it stopped too this did not trip the rcd but I think it's related
