I said I would ask here ,Is it good practice to tap in to the 15mm pipework feeding a radiator for the main heating flow and return on a combi boiler. This has been done by a heating firm installing a new combi. It seems to work OK

No it was done under the free boiler grant scheme they have fitted the combi in the kitchen and ran a 22mm flow return to the kitchen rad aprox 1.5 meters away which is 15mm droped down pipes from above

Question is would any of you heating engineers do it this way. When the surveyor came he said it will be connected under the floor but as this bloke was in such a hurry hes done it the simplist way. Also you cant open the front flap to the boiler fully as hes installed the boiler off center in a cupboard so the flap hits the door stop

Why the eff would a combi go in a kitchen from a BBF? It's airing cupboard everytime. You're winding me up.

If it was my house I would off phoned the install company and tell them to install it properly.I know they use sub contractors on a crap price but you would think they would do a neat install
