Hi all

Hope you can help

Please can you tell me what the general temps for the hot water and heating should be set at?

Despite my room stat being set at 25, the rads don't seem to be very hot. It was serviced last week and I'm wondering if the settings were changed...

I have a Vaillant ecotec plus if this is any help

thanks

the rads should be about 82 degrees celsius on the flow pipe and 71 degrees on the return.
Hot water around 50 degrees C at the taps.

Thanks for the speedy rely

So the dials on the boiler should be set at 82 and 50 respectively?

I think the heating one only goes up to 75!

BTW it's not a combi boiler

Depends if it's a condensing boiler or not, condensing boilers are supposed to run at lower temps to keep them within the condensing range (getting the most out of them) but if the rads are undersized or are older rads then running at a lower temp they may not be supplying the output required by the room. If it's a standard efficiency boiler it's around 85c, are the rooms heating up as they should?? what temp is the house?
