hey if installing polyplumb plastic pipe under a floor screed through a duct. Is there any way around having to have two push fit elbows under the floor so I can bring the pipes up in copper? Is it ok to do this?

can be done but i wouldnt id have plastic coming up use a push fit coupling to copper above the screed, so there is no joints below the screed

If you plan on doing it I'd chose to use compression elbows instead of push it. Well tight with a little ptfe around the rings. The copper double clipped to the wall prior to screed with the pipes live a while to

You would be better staying in plastic.
Just sweep them and wall fix in the right location.

You don't need ducts. Best to use pipe insulation which will exit the floor then lateral movement is no problem.

Finish with escutcheon plates and rad snaps..

thanks to be able to sweep them up through the floor won't I need the pipe to be quite deep in the floor to have enough room to sweep them?

Depends on the depth. Here in the province you have 150mm to play with which is no problem.
But then we lay our floors the correct way!

Is 150 mm enough to sweep 15mm polyplumb 90 degrees and it not to be pulling on the fitting on the surface too much ?

compression where you cant get to afterwards?????

good idea.....

Then well tight (to crush the olive and deform the pipe)

Ptfe the signature of the DIYer (didnt see that mentioned on the conex website)

All in all fantastic post, Im off to redo my rads with extra PTFE and a 3ft spanner :p

If the duct is level with the finished floor you can do what you like.

Download the Hep2o installer guide.

They have a section on running and terminating plastic pipes in screed.

It may give you some fresh ideas

Also gives you some information on spacing Hot Pipes from MCW Pipes to prevent warming the drinking water supply.

Yes more than enough.

Erm min radius for unsuported bent polypipe is 180mm so 150mm is looking a bit tight....

In the Hep2o installer guide it says 8 times the pipe dia so 15mm pipe would be 120mm radius, I know OP has asked about Polyplumb but they are both PB pipes so not sure why the difference.

Could always use a cold form bend, Polyplumb and Hep2o both do them, the Hepworth one is 120mm radius.

The inexperienced will always depend on google.
