I have a 1996 Fiesta Courier and ther is a light on the dash which I presume is the Airbag light. When the engine is running the light will flash 4 time pause then flash again, sometime though it flashes once at 5 second intervals. anyone know what this means or what the cause is?

disconnect battery for 5 mins,lift up the plastic trims beside the seat and the door weatherstrip,unplug and reconnect yellow plug.do this on both sides and refit battery wire.test.4 flashes means seat belt pretensioners(buckles)one flash is clockspring(unit behind airbag).if in doubt take to local garage.
