What are the skip prices like in your area? mine are (in Croydon)

Mini - £100
Midi - £160
6yd - £180 for hardcore/soil
6yd - £200 for general rubbish

All are plus V.A.T

Anything goes in any of our skips and all prices shown are inclusive of vat. Pretty much unlimited time on site also.
 
Up till xmas was paying £100 for an 8 yd skip, price increase to £120 now
midi £70

It expensive down this way. We did have a local place doing them for £250 but hes been shut down by health and safety.
 
Another 280 here too, serious rip off..
Cant understand why, plenty of space to dump the stuff.
Water is also expensive, cant see why either as there is a lot of it.

According to one supplier brave enough to put his prices on-line, the costs for cardiff/Newport area are:

mini = £70
Midi = £90
'Builders' = £170

how that equates to yardage is anyone's guess.

I'm going to ring around a few places in the week so we'll see what everyone else is doing.
 
Is it not like merchant prices for materials - the more often you hire skips the better deal you can get?

I imagine thats probably true, but I doubt that the promise of more work would be enough to get a cheaper price if you dont know the skip hire bods!
 
I left a Hippobag out once, intending to call them the next day, but it got collected before I had the chance!
 
Rung a few people, £180 +VAT for 8 yard seems to be the best price around me at the moment.
