I have tiles a plywood topped wooden table outside some weeks ago and covered it with a waterproof sheet to prevent it getting wet but the adhesive is still as it was when i first did it anyone know why please.

what adhesive did you use? I would guess a ready mix or a cheap rapid set. It could be due to cold weather (check the correct operating temp for the adhesive you used) I would suggest cleaning up and starting over. I only ever use mapei adhesive. Be sure to use flexible, suitable for wood and the same spec grout. Be sure to prime the wood too.

I have done as you have said already and stripped the lot off and started again as i suspected same as you that i did it just slightly too early in the year and the frost got to it before it had time to set so fingers crossed my doing it early this morning and the nice warm sunny day we are having today will give it chance to set something like before the cold gets to it.
