As per the forum post, I have what seems to be an unidentifiable Alarm, taking the lid off and trying to find any markings on the core PCB haven't proved fruitful. So whilst all installed and seemingly working, we have no way of knowing how to arm, disarm. We had an alarm guy out, he wouldn't touch it and wanted to install an entirely new system.

We have PIRs all over the house seemingly wired into the mains. They look quite expensive and well installed.

Can we use these with a new alarm system, are PIRs standard, or do they need ripping out and new ones installed?

Will try & post a picture of the alarm later.

Post a picture, I'm sure we will be able to ID it for you.

You sure there are no markings of any sort, how about on the Keypad?

thank you - I'll post a picture shortly, no the only markings on the keypad are the general function icons, there's nothing to indicate a brand or manufacturer which is rather odd. The only number on it which looks like a serial number, I've Googled the sh*t out of and no joy.

I'd love to get it working as opposed to buying a new one. Picture to follow, thank you guys

Well, I'm afraid I'm beaten, no idea, sorry.

I expect sparky will be along soon, he might know.

I think its a Response alarm from one of the sheds, Wickes, B&Q etc. Sadly doesn't seem to be on their current line up of stuff though.

Half right with the Shed bought. Still no wiser for a model number.

All honesty, I wouldn't ask about what it IS, but what you should replace it with.

Looking at your picture I would say that it is an old Response alarm.

Note the conformations,

BS6799 Class 3 for Wire free alarms
and
DTI MPT 1340 Radio Communication Alarms Standard

Guys thank you so much, really appreciated, I'll post up that number too to see if that's any help, and then go from there.

Thanks again, you're all legends

Thanks guys, just spoke to Response, they've IDed it as a SOLA 400 and sent me the manual. Thanks to you guys, I can use this Alarm now. You're all welcome round at mine for PIMMS and BBQ. If anyone wants the manual, let me know.
