Hi
I am replacing a conventional radiator in a bathroom with a chrome towel radiator. The previous radiator DID have an earthing strap connected. I have been told (not by an electrician) that earth bonding on rads is not required if your CU is RCD protected. Our CU does have an rcd switch.
If earth bonding is required, is it possible to just connect to the copper pipes behind the wall? Don't really want an earthing strap connected to my chrome radiator!
Thank you.
