Hi All,
First time poster here :)
I'm currently doing a loft conversion with an en suite and it's decision time. One of the choices I need to make is what type of digital shower I want. I have around a max budget of £1K ..Requirements are a simple - just want a good brand which provides an awesome showering experience ..The shower I am leaning towards is the grohe solo f-digital rainshower ..any advice alternative recommendations etc would be most welcome. Thank you for reading and look forward to your replies...

I haven't fitted that exact model but have worked with loads of grohe stuff over the years. I have always found their products to be high quality. I think you could do a lot worse.

U can tell it's my first post :) ..I have an unvented system ..We already have a mira platinum in our main bathroom and it's been brilliant to be fair but wanted something even superior for the loft en suite ..if there's anyone who can provide user feedback on the grohe solo f digital shower I would obviously be very interested to hear what it's like ..likewise if anyone could recommend an alternative I'm all ears..

Forgive my ignorance but wasnt aware of any such legislation due to come into affect ..I do specify a good showering experience but at the same time I am conscious of the amount of water a shower can consume so will strike a balance between the two.

I have just come across the Mira Platinum Dual which combines a overhead rain shower ..so at the moment im torn between this shower and the Grohe solo F digial rainshower???

As far as I am aware it's only a proposal at the moment - EU directive etc.

They may be able to limit the flow rate, but they can't limit how long you can spend under the shower. :LOL:

I've used these for about 10 years now and very happy;

I have the aqualiser digital exposed pumped. This one uses around 12lts per min norm and 18ltrs per min on boost. Installation is one box, around the size of a large shoe box and is fine in my loft from a hot water cylinder below (negative head). If you wanted info re suitability for your installation, their advisers are very good. I have also used their call out under guarantee once during that period; no quibble, fast, new unit fitted.

I have had a look at the Aqualisa range, what are the main differences between the Quartz, Ilux and Hiqu?

As I said, I have used one of theirs, the Digital, for 10 years. I'm not a salesman or advisor so why ask me to comment on their range or compare them to other manufacturers. You can read their web sites as well as I can.
Your Welcome !

sorry didnt mean to cause any offence by asking you ..u mentioned about the flow rates for the quartz so thought you or someone else may now if there were any key differences between the other digital ranges made by Aqualisa such as flow rate in the new models ..I did look into the Aqualisa digital showers prior to posting on here but reading other forums, people were commenting on how the newer models have different processors from the older versions and the flow rates have reduced considerably ..so that was probably the main reason I overlooked them

They tried to limit the flow from a shower head by Federal law in the States to conserve water. The manufacturers simply made 1, 2 3 and 4 head shower outlets. Looked like chandeliers.
