Hi all,
I'm normally to be found on the electrics UK forum but have been advised to seek out your expertise this time.

I have got a job to do which involves fitting small round LED lights into bathroom tiles. The tiles are going to be in storage areas that have been built from studwork and so have a void behind. The lights have their own leads which run back to a central box which they all plug into and we have so far inserted draw wires where each light is to go, which are poking through the plasterboard.

My question is, has anyone experience of this kind of job and what the best way to get the lights inserted into the tiles is. I am guessing that the best method will be for me to work with the tiler so he can drill the holes in the tiles and we can then feed the cable and light through before it is bedded (sorry if wrong technical term  ). Does anyone agree or is there a better way? I have a couple of photos of the areas to be lit if it helps.

Yip just talk to the tiler....

Where they will be placed....

The size of them....so he will know what size of hole to drill....

Also Dependant on type of tile, so he will need the correct drill bit...
I.e...porky/granite/ceramic ect...

Cheers tictic, was starting to have nightmares about having to drill them once in-situ!
