Attractive consumer unit?

Need to select a consumer unit that will be visible at high level. Don't want to put a cupboard around one just want a quality unit that is asthetically pleasing.
What do you guys use?

How high ?

Don't forget to consider you may need to find and safely access the consumer unit in an emergency ( for example when all the lights go out when when a lamp blows and takes out the lights MCB )

Depends on what you consider to be "attractive"

Personally i install Hager, but that's because of the quality and technical reliability. Those are the attractive features for me.

Definitely go for the Hager, they are the nicest and you won't need a cupboard round it.

The picture shows the flushed in version, though the surface mounted one is attractive as well.

It's also worth noting the quality of Hager is very high too, and getting newer breakers to fit shouldn't ever be a problem, based on their history of redesigning them to fit all their boards.

The MK boards look nice too, but they seem to be to be of a poor quality these days, so try to go for the Hager.

I wouldn't bother, you weren't missed. Things have been a lot more pleasant - I can't recall a thread that has turned into a **** slinging match since you moved on.

That'll be because of a shortage of people promoting truth, honesty, decency, trustworthiness and competence - concepts which are so alien to some people here that they get really bent out of shape when they are told about them.
