Fitting of this suite!

What might I expect to have to shell out to have this one fitted in place of our old suite? Anyone had dealings with the shop BTW? They seem to have excellent feedback and happy customers.

a cheap suite causes more problems for fitters as its all crap fittings and crap firing .

some plumbers charge more to fit a cheap suite.

i charge for a straight swap £350 in leic'shire

oh... and those panels are a bit OTT.

Cheap suites :
Bath panels are about 1mm thick
Bath is about 2mm thick, has inadequate supports and feet
Water settles at the foot end of the bath
Waste hole won't take a standard waste fitting without tipping it to an angle.
Have had bath tap/handle holes slightly the wrong spacings

Basin won't sit on the pedestal straight, and doesn't have provision for a decent wall fixing. Tap holes if 2, different spacing from bowl.

Wc cistern won't go flat to the wall, may have no fixing holes, a sloppy handle, syphon/valve which breaks in about a month, oversized fitting holes.

Pan has a nonflat base, oval and poorly glazed spigot which leaks. Pan fixing holes need enormous screws.

WC seat will be something which came out of China for a few pence.

Apart from that they're OK.

Was initially quoted £30 for delivey, but on a recent enquiry they offered it for free for me too.

The alternative is to keep the current dated suite, and just pay for someone to change the shower mixer tap, which is the only really defect thing. What got me thinking to change the suite was that for a bit extra I could change the whole thing. Only had one quote on changing the taps, which was app 250 including the tap, but open to advice here.

£250 for mixer tap change .Taps cost £120+ vat for a good quality quarter turn ceramic disc type.+VAT from PTS..........BUT sometimes it can be a swine to get the old taps out Max1 day lost OR it may be an hours job PS. I`m cash only no reciept
