Planning permission refused and appeal refused what next?

I would be employing another designer if you feel the need to advise him. Its supposed to work the other way round.

Your architect is going down to the L.A. to his ass smacked and some planning guidelines thrust upon him.

The enforcement officer had told the designer you should have won the appeal case hands down, so not sure why he is saying that.

And I'm not sure who the "you" is you are addressing there.

Anyway - what news from the front?

Still no news?

The architecht has contacted me on fiday, he has confirmed he had phoned the enforcement officer and the officer has asked him to come down and see him next week, so i guess there might be some hope to resolve this issue, what do you think we should tell the enforcement officer? as we did after all make it to the planning officers recomendations, maybe tell him we will put frosted windows in both the rear bedroom windows? afterall we only go to sleep in them rooms, any suggestions?

CBA to look through 4 pages - was it this thread where somebody had posted a link where he'd tracked down the public record stuff of the planning enforcement/appeal/whatever?

I had found what I thought was this case, but it never got updated to show the appeal so not sure I was correct. I think I deleted the link when I got bored.

Hi all, im back with some new news, and require your assistance once again.

After the previous replys, i had been in contact with a councilor who had asked me to forward another application this time just for the change of the pitch of the roof as there was 2 issues with the enforcement, the pitch of the roof and the 2nd storey side extension,

The application just for the pitch of the roof had to go infront of the commitee again, but this time the application got approved but just for the pitch of the roof as the planning officer and team agreed that the new roof looks better in what could have been if made with a shorter pitch, the dilema is they have put a FC but conditional approval, the condition is to knock down the 2 storey extension down.

Can they actually do that? My new application was for the roof pitch only and not the second storey extension, as what i suggested was get the 1 issue out of the way and then try to get the other resolved in time.

i guess im back to square 1 yet again, :(
