Hi there

I want to send signals from a Texecom Premier Elite 24 panel. I know that it can switch an output relay when an alarm (or e.g. a confirmed alarm) is triggered.

But what I really want is to send a signal for each zone that is triggered - so if zone 1 is triggered, this will switch an individual relay.

What would be the best way to do this? Does the panel allow individual outputs to be switched on when individual zones are triggered (I looked in the manual but couldn't find it), or is there another way?

I suppose I could wire up the zone wires going into the panel to a relay - but does this mean that I am potentially introducing a point of failure?

I beleive you can use digicom outputs programmed as output group - zone - mimic. It is on page 73 of your manual.

I've just got to ask, why?

There might be a way of achieving your needs, if we know why you want to do this.

In answer to your last sentence, yes.

with europlex if you say why you want to do then the help given my be better solution to your needs.

You can zone mimic, group zones together and mimic, and many many other scnarios for your outputs.

Texecom even do a relay board for 8 outputs, which can be hard wired in the case of the elite 24, the 48 and above it plugs onto the board if you want it to and program the redcare pins.

question is what do you want it to do, as this way the best advice can be given
