Hi Everyone,
I don't know if this is a firmware bug but I have no other explanation.
Zone 1 on my 8XP expander is configured as DoublePole/EOL but is reporting status as if it were a NC/NO zone, i.e it reacts with active/secure on low and high resistance values instead of 2k2/4k7 resistance values.
Moving the sensor to Zone 4 works absolutely as expected with the exact same zone configuration.
This has to be a bug, no?

Does the status reflect the mode of the device.

what version of wintex do you have and if you go into view zone status in engineer utils what resistances are show for the different states.

Hi,
Wintex 6.2 build 0.2.
When the contact is opened/closed/tampered, the resistances shown in wintex correctly reflect the expected values, but the zone status continues to believe it's configured as NO/NC instead of EOL.

I had a similar problem on a different expander which believed it was configured as EOL when infact I'd set it as NC. Powercycling the panel appeared to fix this but no such luck this time.

Will connect a device back up to Zone 1 and check eng utils.

Put the zones to not used, come out of engineering, go back in and put everything back, then out of engineering again.

This may help what version panel.

A firmware upgrade has resolved this. Panel was previously 2.04 and is now 2.11.
I believe the following issue from the release notes describes the bug:
"When mixing wired and wireless expanders on the system, if the wired expander has an address that is higher than the preceding wireless expander, all zone resistance values can now be used."

makes sense 2.04 wasnt out very long in fact dont remember seeing any 2.04's

thanks for sharing.
