He is a racist, although I'm sure he'll not be in the least bit bothered about any such accusations as long as the people who elected him continue to support him.

Which begs the question, why did he decide to stand in Bradford?

Galloway has a point when he says Bradford should be an Israeli free area. If Palestinians are barred from returning to their homeland then Israeli's should be restricted until they see sense.

I like Galloway, for the same reason I like Farage and Tony Benn (RIP) They speak their mind and don't care who they **** off.

I take your point, in that I too like people who speak their mind and are not bothered by the pc brigade but what would have happened if Farage had spoken out against the Palestinians? He would have been branded a racist.

I was born and brought up in Bradford, but I can't imagine that anyone with an ounce of common sense would want to live there now, least of all Jews or Israelis. If they want to live in that region, they'd be well advised to choose the infinitely superior Leeds.

Racist Galloway and his supporters are welcome to Bradford, for what it's worth.

Irish peasants were put of their land by my ancestoral countrymen. In fact the land I own was very likely owned by catholics at one time.
My Dad purchased the land in a private deal under the table so that catholics could not have the chance of owning it. That left them well embittered. (LoL)
You don't see anyone beating the drum and fighting for their right to return.

A simple reason for that. The Irish republic is not ruled by *******s.

The IRA was fighting for the right of return and they have been pretty successful so far.
