Hey what method can be used to set out the required fall for a gutter in there is no fascia board or anything level to measure the fall from. I plan on using a string line.

That's but I am struggling to find anything level to measure down from to mark out a 1-600mm fall.

Put the line up and carefully hold a spirit level next to it. You will either have a fall or you won't!
600mm is quite a big fall. I'm sure you mean 60mm.
In my gutter bashing days I used to measure down from the front edge of the tile to work out a fall.
By pouring a bucket of water in the high end of the gutter I could check for discrepancies

TO GET THE FALL ON GUTTERING YOU CAN USE A STRING LINE LEVEL WHICH HOOKS ON YOUR LINE TO GET THE FALL REQUIRED YOU CAN GOOGLE THIS OR SEE 1 ON EBAY
