Recommended fasteners for mounting boiler?

Hi,

I have a Worcester Bosch 32CDI compact boiler and want to mount it to the wall so I can finish fitting out the kitchen..

The walls are brick with dot and dab plater board over the brick..

So what would be the best way to fix it to the wall?

Leave it to the Registered Gas Installer. He is responsible for fixing the boiler to the wall, connecting the flue and gas pipe, and for commissioning your system You are NOT permitted to do any of this work.

Hmmm.. Interesting.. Wasn't planning of connecting any of the pipes (gas or water), just getting it up on the wall.. Plumber, gas man and electrician will be responsible to connecting everything up.. Surprised mounting a boiler to the wall is classed as gas work.. :/

If you fix it to wall, he connects gas/pipes etc, then two yrs time the boiler falls off the wall who would get the blame ?

Of course fixing a gas boiler to the wall is classed as gas work.

I guess you wanted to fix it to the wall and encase all around it with kitchen units and then call the RGI in to connect it up.
