I tried to plaster the bathroom with absolutely no knowledge, and completely ruined the room.

It now needs to be done properly, but I am wondering - would a plasterer rather I just pulled down the wall and stuck up fresh plasterboard for him to work on?

While I'm on the topic, I have no idea how much a plasterer costs! Does anyone have any idea to do a bathroom (not inc ceiling), about 3m x 2m in the north of England?

I'm clueless!

I'd leave the plasterboard as is - a pro may be able to over skim. At least let them decide.

Get 3 quotes from reputable local plasterers. Ask friends, family, colleagues for any recommendation.

A small bathroom, walls only, shouldn't be much.
