Just out of interest, guys, why does my combi boiler pump had a lever with 3 settings on it? Why would I choose one setting over another? It's been on I out of III ever since it was fitted and all the rad.s getting jolly hot, jolly quick so I was wondering what the other settings are for...

Why are you removing the boiler cover and playing with the Pump?

Have you not got a boyfriend that you could fiddle with instead?

I notice, gasright, that you have been thanked 51 times - on this occasion, I think I'll give that a miss... ;)

Assuming this is the old Junior from around 2004.

The lever selects the pump speed depending on the size of the heating system. For most installations speed 1 or 2 is sufficient...at the time Worcester could not decide whether it should be moved from the factory setting of 3 (which can cause noise issues on small systems). Leave on 1 if it all works fine.
