On the Promax 24 HE the manual (p24) details 3 jumpers on the circuit board and describes how the flow temperature can be altered from 82 to 63 degrees by removing jumper 2.

The boiler I am looking at has 4 jumpers on the circuit board !!

Can anyone explain how the four jumpers function as opposed to the three detailed in the installation and service instructions that came with the boiler please.

Thanks in advance.[/u]

You might need to call Potty tech on 01926 405405.

They may not know or even if they do they may not want to tell you.

I saw a local advert for people to work there saying "no previous experience needed" !

There are a couple of good guys there though.

Thank you Tony, I called Potty Tech and spoke a good Techy.

The answer for anyone else that may need it is :-

Old boards have 3 jumpers, newer boards have four jumpers.

To change the temp as per the original instructions remove the second blue jumper ie the third from the left. (another jumper has been added to the right on newer boards)

Funny really as Potty Tech told me the board had been replaced but I know it is the original and never been changed.

Worrying "no experience necessary" the same as politicians there then!!

But do you know what the other jumpers do?

I'm afraid not Tony, I did ask but I was told "you don't need to know" must be main dealer only info !

Do you know ? All knowledge is useful.

If your that desperate look on Parts Arena all the info is there.

I did say that they may not want to tell you even if they do know!

Was thinking of you when I passed the Warwick office last week!
