Hi Folks, if I'm looking to change all my light bulbs in the house to LEDs and I can't afford to do it all in one go, is the highest watt bulbs I should be aiming to replace first? i.e. 60w first before any 40watt.

I guess what you're thinking is will it save more money changing the higher power lamps first? Well, in theory maybe but you also need to consider the run time. If you've got a 40W lamp in your living room that runs for five hours a day, then it makes a lot more sense to change that first than a 60W lamp in the spare bedroom that gets used for a couple of minutes, once a month when you pop in to grab something that's being stored in there.
That said, the difference between 60W and 40W is 20W and you have to run a lamp for a very long time to make a noticeable difference.
